National Cadet Corps (NCC)
The National Cadet Corps is the youth wing of Armed Forces with its headquarters at NewDelhi which is engaged in grooming the youths of the country into disciplinedcitizens since July 16, 1948. The motto of NCC is "Unity and Discipline". This is a voluntary youth organization that engages cadets from highschools, higher secondary,colleges and universities from all over India to model them into united anddisciplined citizens of the nation.
For joining the National Cadet Corps, willing students areadvised to contact the college office. Regular training is provided to thestudents joining NCC within the college campus. NCC camps are held at the statelevel and national level and certificates and prizes are also awarded to thedeserving cadets. Students joining NCC also gets the opportunity to participateat the Republic Day Camp (RDC), which is held every year at Delhi Cantonment from 1st to 29th January.
