The Hectic Demands Of Modern Lifestyle And The Incessant Pressure To Meet Different Deadlines Build Up Physical And Mental Stress In The Learners As Well As The Incumbents Of The College. As It Is Well Known That Stress In Any Form Undermines The Performance Of The Victim, Emphasis Was Led On Introducing The Yoga Practices In The College. The Age Old Indian Practice Of Yoga Helps Not Only To Relieve Stress But Also Brings About A Positive Psycho-physiological Change In The Person Who Practices It Regularly. In A Given Academic Year, Students, Teachers And Non-teaching Staff Participate In The Yoga Sessions Held Regularly Under The Guidance Of An Expert. Further On 21st June Of Each Year, The International Yoga Day Is Celebrated Habitually By The College. It Is Interesting To Note That One Of Our College Students Named Anamika Mondal Who Is Also A NSS Volunteer Was Selected As A Participant In The Yoga Performance Of Republic Dayparade In New Delhi Held On 26th January, 2019.
